Long day care services are assessed under national quality standards. These particular early learning environments provide licensed care for children aged from six weeks to five years and can be open from 6:30 am to as late as 6:30 pm. Families are also given the option of full-time care from Monday to Friday or part-time care where they can choose specific days throughout the week.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a subsidy that is provided by the government to help you with the cost of child care.

To be eligible, you must: 

• care for a child 13 or younger who’s not attending secondary school, unless an exemption applies
• use an approved child care service
• be responsible for paying the child care fees
• meet residency and immunisation requirements.

CCS percentages are worked out based on the below: 

• your family’s income
• the hourly rate cap based on the type of approved child care you use and your child’s age
• the hours of activity you and your partner do.

The amount of subsidised child care you can access per fortnight applies to each child

Complete the online enquiry form and we will contact you with further information regarding availability and to book in a tour.

We provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack where required. We have our own on-site chef who plans and prepares nutritional meals daily. Our menu is displayed in the centre each week and we welcome families’ feedback. All meals are included in our fees.

Yes, we provide nappies and wipes for babies and toddlers.

Absolutely. Mothers who are breastfeeding are welcome to visit the service at any time or during breaks from work to feed their babies. Our recommendation will be to keep all infants on breast milk or infant formula as the main drink until at least 12 months of age. Parents will be asked to supply breast milk in multiple small quantities to prevent wastage.

Breastfeeding parents will be asked to discuss with educators what to do if expressed milk runs out. Parents will be asked to clearly label bottles of milk (formula or expressed breast milk) with the infant’s name and the date of preparation. Parents will be asked to provide sterilised equipment (bottles, teats and other utensils) for the very young infant. Parents must indicate on the enrolment form any known allergies or food reactions and any specific or special dietary requirements.

What do I need to pack in my child’s bag?

• A sunsafe hat which covers your child’s face, neck &ears (you will receive one on your first day)
• Change of clothes (when involved with hands-on play-based learning, your child may get a little messy!)
• A bib or two
• Comfort item (if required), such as a toy or blanket
• Dummy in a sealed, named container (if required)
• Sleeping sheet set or blanket for nap time
• Bottles
• Expressed milk (if required)
• Water bottle with a lid or a sippy cup
• Any medications – please give these to centre staff to manage directly.

Under the National Law and Regulations, services are required to base their educational program on an approved learning framework. This should focus on addressing the developmental needs, interests and experiences of each child, while taking into account individual differences.

The early years learning framework (EYLF) learning outcomes are:

• Children have a strong sense of identity
• Children are connected with and contribute to their world
• Children have a strong sense of well being
• Children are confident and involved learners
• Children are effective communicators.

An approved kindergarten program is:

• provided for children in the year before Prep (i.e. children who are aged four by 30 June in the year they start—see kindy age requirements
• provided for 15 hours a week for 40 weeks or one school year
• play based
• delivered by a qualified early childhood teacher
• non-compulsory.

The National Quality Framework (NQF) provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services across Australia. A qualified Educator must hold their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. A Lead Educator must hold their Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

A qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) must hold their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). 

The National Quality Framework (NQF) sets out the minimum child ratio requirements for children’s education and care services.

Age of children: Birth to 24 months

Educator to child ratio: 1:4

Age of children: Over 24 months and less than 36 months

Educator to child ratio: 1:5

Age of children: 36 months up to and including preschool age

Educator to child ratio: 1:11

Age of children: Over preschool age

Educator to child ratio: 1:15

As we receive an overwhelming amount of enquiries, the waitlist fee secures your place of the waitlist. Once we confirm your place this then transfers to become your enrolment fee.

The enrolment fee provides your child with a hat, drink bottle and t-shirt.

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm. 

They may vary depending on the centre of attendance. Our incursions would look like dance, sport, yoga, music or language lessons. 

Storypark allows families to be more involved in their child’s day and share in their journey. Through Storypark, your child’s educators will record and communicate learning as it happens via photos, video, audio and observations within a secure online environment. Receive instant feedback and plan new ways to extend your child’s unique interests and abilities. This also allows us to have an online community notice board. All important messages and upcoming event reminders are listed on here as well so you will never forget about an important event.

The Storypark for Families app, which is the app with the purple icon, has been designed specifically with parents and family members in mind. If you don’t already have it, it can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store for Android or the Apple Store for iOS (iPads and iPhones).
