Leadership at Sanctuary

As a core leader at Sanctuary, Lauren ensures the organisation’s values of collaboration, connection, inclusion and respect are lived every day in practice. These values are the foundation of Sanctuary’s philosophy — influencing how curriculum is co-constructed with children, how families are engaged as partners, and how teaching teams are supported to deliver meaningful learning experiences.

Lauren is especially passionate about:

Child-led learning — ensuring each child’s voice and interests guide their curriculum and daily experiences, helping to build confidence and curiosity.

Community & belonging — nurturing a sense of safety, respect and belonging for every family that joins Sanctuary.

Educator empowerment — fostering learning teams where mutual respect, professional growth and wellbeing are front of mind.

Her leadership reflects Sanctuary’s belief that early education is not just about care, but about building a lifelong foundation for learning, resilience and connection.

Vision & Impact

Lauren’s vision for Sanctuary is one where every child’s early learning journey is celebrated as unique and full of potential. She advocates for programs that are not only educational and enriching but also joyful, inclusive and respectful of every child’s identity and culture.

Under her leadership, Sanctuary continues to grow as a trusted early childhood education provider — deeply rooted in community, collaboration and outstanding quality practice
